Why we built Try Nail Color
No more guessing at the salon
Picking a nail colour from a tiny swatch is a coin flip. Try Nail Color puts the shade on your own hand, in your own lighting, before you spend money on it.
The problem
The same polish looks different on everyone. Skin tone changes how a colour reads, salon lighting is nothing like daylight, and a shade that looked perfect on a model can look completely wrong on your own hands. So people stick to one safe colour, or they take a chance and pay to have it removed a week later.
Seconds, not appointments
Upload a photo of your hand and a picture of the design you like. The preview comes back in under a minute.
Honest, not flattering
We deliberately do not beautify the result. No skin smoothing, no brightening. A preview you cannot trust is worse than no preview.
For everyone
Whether you are booking a salon appointment or buying a bottle online, the same question applies: will this look right on me?
What a preview is not
The result is an AI-generated approximation, not a colour-accurate simulation. Screens vary, cameras vary, and polish has finishes — gloss, matte, shimmer, magnetic — that a flat image cannot fully reproduce. Treat the preview as a strong indication, not a guarantee. Always worth a look at the real swatch before you commit.
